James is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Nature’s Miracle. He is a successful entrepreneur and has been involved with over $1 billion investment in the areas of clean energy, agriculture, and the biotech industry. He has been instrumental with over 10 IPO transactions on Nasdaq and NYSE over the last twenty years. Along with three other partners, he launched a $200 million SPAC (China Hydroelectric Corporation) in 2006. China Hydroelectric Corporation, where James served as CFO, President, and CEO, successfully consolidated the small hydroelectric space in China and was the largest small hydroelectric company listed on NYSE. James started his career with Citigroup in the investment banking unit in New York city in 1998. James Li graduated from Columbia Business School in New York with an MBA in 1998. He completed his B.S. in accounting from Brooklyn College. He is a CFA and a CPA.
Chuck Hausman is the CEO of K.Mizra which he founded in 2019. Since it’s founding K.Mizra has focused on acquiring high value, high quality patents with a global reach. Prior to forming K.Mizra, Chuck has specialized in IP enforcement and monetization at a number of companies. Beginning at the Recording Industry Association of America, Chuck was Deputy Director at the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) where he further expanded the intellectual property rights of movie studios. Following the MPAA, Chuck worked at Philips Intellectual Property and Standards Group. Following his time at Philips, Chuck worked as world-wide program manager for a Pool licensing consortium known as One-Red. Following One-Red, Chuck worked for a Non Practicing Entity known as Sisvel. At Sisvel Chuck served as President of US operations. Chuck oversaw the administration of multiple litigations and licensing programs while at Sisvel. Chuck graduated with a BS in accounting from Tulane University and JD from Southwestern University School of Law. He is admitted to California Bar Association (1996).
Jon Montgomery has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Nature’s Miracle Holding Inc. since 2024 and chairs the Company’s Nominating & Governance Committee. He also serves on the Audit and Compensation Committees.
He brings public-company governance experience across Nasdaq-listed emerging-growth companies. His board work has included oversight of capital-markets transactions, capital-structure actions, exchange-compliance matters, and special-committee governance. He has experience operating within founder-led public-company structures and emphasizes disciplined oversight, clear accountability, and alignment with long-term shareholder interests while maintaining constructive engagement between independent directors and executive leadership.
He also serves as Board Chair of Nuvve Holding Corp. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in marketing and strategic development, bringing commercial and market-facing perspective to his board service.
Mr. Montgomery holds an M.B.A .from Northeastern University and a B.A.from the University of California, Berkeley.
Since 1985, Dr. Sherman has been a professor at Northeastern University in financial and management accounting, global financial statement analysis.; since January 2014, Prof. Sherman has served as Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since July 2010, he has also served as a Board member and Treasurer for D-Tree International. Since September 2019, he has served as an independent board member for Newborn Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: NBAC), board and audit chair for Dunxin Financial Holdings Ltd. (AMEX:DXF), Kingold Jewelry Inc. (NASDAQ: KGJI), China HGS Real Estate Inc. (NASDAQ: HGSH), Agfeed Corporation, a manufacturing company of agricultural products, and China Growth Alliance, Ltd. Dr. Sherman was previously on the faculty at MIT and at Harvard Business School.
